Audition information

Audition Tips!
- Arrive at least 15 minutes early. You don’t want to have to rush into your audition. Give yourself time to find the space and warm up.
- Pack your bag with a book in case there is waiting and a bottle of water.
- Be nice to everybody. You never know if the person you are speaking to is important. “Hint: Everyone is important!”

Conflict Calendar
We understand many families have busy lives. The success of each show depends on team players making rehearsals a priority so the show can move forward. Conflicts are taken into consideration when casting. The Conflict Calendar is a tool to indicate which rehearsals you are NOT available for.
Be sure to check your school calendar for trips to D.C., concert/recitals you are required to attend, Area All-State, All-County, Solo-Fest, confirmation, prom, homecoming, etc. Directors may schedule around minimal conflicts. Once cast, only a limited number of emergency conflicts may be added without affecting your ability to stay in your role or in the show. You must be available for all mandatory rehearsals and performances. PLEASE BE HONEST.
Tuition Assistance
A limited amount of needs-based tuition assistance is available for each show after casting is completed. If you are in need of this help, please email Stages@MJTStages.com after you have been cast in a show to receive tuition assistance application information.
